The architecture is a very easy to fix and very easy to look at the drawings. The Japanese architecture was developed to overcome the harsh nature of the evidence, as in Japan, the phases of the year are very well defined, with very rigorous winters and beautiful summers.
And these techniques had to be developed with the simple material and that the country had in abundance: timber, bamboo, earth and paper. And show the buildings is the first step to go and learn a little of this culture.
We have a large sample of this in Miyazaki's anime, which in universal themes such as ecology, take a peek at Princess Mononoke and Nausicaä, where we observe some buildings and habits "feudal" Japan merged and slightly modified to adapt the stories. We can break into homes in eastern drawings as My Neighbor Totoro, and see many customs.
But we need not be as classic for us to repay it. In designs like Dragon Ball Z, Saber Marionette, Sailor Moon, InuYasha, Card Captor Sakura and many other animations.
